Description

Callawassie Island Club is an 880-acre, member-owned, equity golf and country club nestled in the heart of South Carolina's Lowcountry. Situated between historic Beaufort and the world-famous resort of Hilton Head Island, and lying amid the Chechessee, Colleton, and Okatie Rivers which empty into Port Royal Sound, the island allows residents easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.

Callawassie Island is separated from the mainland by a half-mile causeway, providing a peaceful and tranquil environment.

A Tom-Fazio-designed golf course weaves through ponds, marshland, oaks and magnolias.

Eleven miles of shoreline offer incredible vistas of marshes and rivers. The landscape includes picturesque golf course lagoons, stands of Magnolia, Pine, Palmetto, Hickory, and Live Oak trees draped with Spanish moss.
