Description
The Carolina Country Club is a planned, private,
2,000-acre golf community consisting of
single-family homes with golf, lake and woodland
views. The community offers championship golf,
swimming, tennis and fine dining for members and
their guests.
Wooded trails ideal for walking, jogging and
biking meander through the property. Children
and adults alike enjoy natural forest creeks and
landscaped park areas. Access to The Carolina
Country Club is controlled by a 24-hour staffed
security gate, so residents feel secure.

Fountains, lakes and wooded backdrops provide arresting
views.
The Carolina Country Club golf course, designed
by Tom Jackson in 1984, is a tree-lined beauty
enhanced by lakes and streams. The course is a
co-host of the prestigious
BMW Charity Pro-Am golf tournament. Among the
players this year was Luke Wilson who brightened the day of two
members by signing autographs.

About the Area
The Upstate of South Carolina boasts a delightful climate with
an average normal temperature of 60.1 degrees. Four mild, yet
distinct, seasons provide spectacular displays of natural beauty
while allowing outdoor activities virtually year-round.
Chosen by BMW for their first North American
manufacturing plant, this area of the upstate is home to over
231 international companies including Adidas, Dunlop, Hitachi,
Kohler, Michelin, Milliken & Company and W.R. Grace.
Spartanburg could make the case for being
a "College Town." Each August the population grows
dramatically as more than 12,000 students arrive at six area
colleges and universities, helping create a lively and
vibrant atmosphere.
Cultural and historical points of interest include Spartanburg's
46,000-square-foot Art Center, Greenville's Peace Center for the
Performing Arts, Biltmore Estate in nearby Asheville and the
Cowpens and Kings Mountain National Battlefields.
The Carolina Country Club lies at the gateway to the majestic Blue
Ridge mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and
is only four hours from sunny Carolina beaches.
