The layout of the course parallels three-and-a-half miles of beachfront with six holes playing along the beach. Rolling, green palm-fringed fairways combine with elegantly designed bunkers make your golf experience stunning in beauty and challenging in play.

The clubhouse features a restaurant, bar and pro shop. This facility is located right on the beach and offers great views of the sea and the chance to grab a quick bite before or after a round of golf, an after game cocktail, or a full-sit down dinner with the private beach and Pacific Ocean as your view.

An on-site Turtle Preserve dedicated to protecting sea turtles and other precious life allows visitors to tour the facility at no charge and see the turtle pool and iguana pen, and learn more about what Estrella del Mar does to preserve its environment.

Choose from one, two or three bedroom condos, ranging in size from 700 square feet to almost 3,000 square feet. Note that ownership is not timeshare, but full-time ownership offering the most secure form of foreign property ownership available in Mexico. About the Developer
At the end of 2003, Estrella del Mar ownership sold a fifty percent position to a new managing partner which has taken control of operations and marketing. Management turned to Pat Butler, an American citizen, with extensive business and development experience in both the U.S. and Mexico.

Butler has held several prominent positions in resort marketing, including Vice President for Marriott Corporation, President and CEO of Coast to Coast Resorts and President and CEO of Golf Card International.

In 1994, Butler broke from corporate America to pursue development opportunities in Baja, Mexico. Near the town of San Felipe, Mr. Butler acquired a resort development called El Dorado Ranch which at the time was just in its infancy.

Over the next 10 years El Dorado Ranch would become one of the premier real estate developments in the state of Northern Baja, the largest employer in the area, and at the same time, set a new standard for environmental development.

In addition to becoming a solid business, El Dorado Ranch has become a role model for environmentally sustainable development. The Ranch can now lay claim to being the largest solar community in the North America.

Butler is currently developing a new seaside golf course community, La Ventana del Mar. Both El Dorado Ranch and La Ventana del Mar were recently recognized by the Mexican Government as being among the most outstanding real estate developments in the Baja.
