~Virginia Homesite Group Presents~
The Highlands
Chesterfield, Virginia

Individual neighborhoods of beautifully crafted homes combine
with first-class amenities to craft a community celebrating
tranquility and outdoor enjoyment.
Description
The Highlands is a planned community spread across 3,100
acres of serene, natural beauty that includes a 65-acre lake, an 18-hole
championship golf course and homesites ranging from one to five acres.

The Highlands features an18-hole championship course by Barton Tuck.
The concept of The Highlands is to create a community of discrete neighborhoods
comprised of handsome, luxurious homes on natural buffered sites. This layout
nurtures a sense of quiet privacy while enhancing the peaceful feeling of a
small community.
The dramatic contours of the 1995-vintage Highlands golf course were designed by
Barton Tuck. His tree-lined parkland layout measures 6,711 yards from the back
tees. Signature hole is the par-5 14th, with its downhill drive, sweeping dogleg
and semi-island green.
The Highlands men's golf association is an 80-member group aimed at promoting
club camaraderie and ensuring a fun and competitive golf program at the club.
Activities include monthly tournaments March through October and Thursday
evening league play.
From Indoor Luxury to Outdoor Pleasures
The 65-acre Highlands Lake is a popular recreational amenity for property
owners and their guests. Boats up to 18 feet in length are permitted on the
lake, and for power craft only electric motors are allowed. Virginia fish and
game laws are observed on the lake.

Inside the well-appointed clubhouse.
For families looking to share an al fresco meal on a quiet afternoon, The
Highlands offers numerous picnic pavilions tucked into pristine settings. Indoor
dining is highlighted by the members’ grill and the superb clubhouse restaurant,
overseen by a master chef.
Whether you’re a novice hiker or an experienced trekker of trails, the community
offers miles of preserved woodlands with the right terrain to fit any endurance
level.

The community's 65-acre private lake offers boating, fishing
and swimming.
Afternoon swims are a high point of Highlands living, in an array of community
pools with novel features like a beach entry, fountains and cascading water
mushrooms. Many comfortable poolside spots offer the bonus of a lake view in the
near distance.
Residents share activities and hobbies of many types at The Highlands. Clubs
gather for bridge, gardening, investments, literature, charitable volunteering
and other pursuit.
