Take Advantage of Calabash
Located just minutes from the Atlantic
Ocean and the relaxed fishing village of Calabash, NC,
Meadowlands is a master-planned community of beautifully
designed homes and neighborhoods. Calabash is famous for its
seafood, the fishing boats that line the docks, beachcombing
and boating and is the quintessential quaint Southern town
where life revolves around the waterfront and the activity
that goes on there.

One of the of the community's two club houses offers a superb
waterview.
Meadowlands is 368 acres of rich Carolina
landscape. The community enjoys the best of two worlds being
close to area beaches, yet still able to maintain the
peacefulness and privacy of being tucked away among meadows
and woodlands. Meadowlands was created with concern for the
environment and provides sanctuary to a host of native
wildlife.
Some
of the best
things about living in Meadowlands are the simple pleasures of
nature, says marketing manager James Coffey, but the community offers much more: playing privileges
on two spectacular championship golf courses designed by
Atlanta architect Willard Byrd, two inviting golf clubhouses,
ample swimming pool, biking and walking trails and a
hospitable property-owners clubhouse with fitness center.

Water and marsh come into play on many holes.
36
Holes of Golf
Both the community's courses, Farmstead
and Meadowlands, feature five sets of tees ensuring enjoyable
golf for players of every skill level. From the back tees, the
Meadowlands course stretches to 7,054 yards; the Farmstead
course to 7,242 yards.
Farmstead's 767 yard par-6 finishing hole
is among the most interesting and challenging. No less
intimidating is the par-4, 480-yard, third hole on the
Meadowlands course, which features water carries on both the
drive and approach shot.

Homes lie hidden in the trees while overlooking the course.
Meadowlands residents can look forward to
relaxing at the new property owners clubhouse which is now
under construction. Activities will include reading in the
library, playing cards and sun-bathing by the pool.
Real Estate Opportunities
Various neighborhoods cater to different needs and price
ranges. Meadowlands Trail has gracious homes that are a
