Description
North River Club is a master-planned,
620-acre sporting community on an idyllic Crystal Coast site
just five miles from historic Beaufort, North Carolina. Designed
around an 18- hole championship golf course, it offers excellent
amenities and true village warmth.
The community’s award-winning golf course
opened in 2007 to rave reviews from low-handicap experts and
recreational players alike. Laid out by Bob Moore for JMP Golf
Design, it stretches 7,200 yards from the back tees but can be
played as short as 5,017.

The award winning golf course was designed by Bob Moore.
The course features expansive waste bunkers
that enhance visual appeal. Lakes and ponds, many with wooden
bulkheads, bring water into play on seven holes.
Planned amenities at the golf complex
include a large practice range, putting green and a spacious
two-story clubhouse. Inside will be a club grill, golf pro shop,
locker rooms and a members lounge.

The course features ponds and lakes throughout.
A Community of Villages
North River Club is clustered into separate villages with
varied home styles. Property owners select from single-family
homes, bungalows, patio homes and condominiums, all within
minutes of the best boating, fishing and water sports the
Crystal Coast has to offer.
Besides the magnificent golf course, onsite
amenities will include a racquet club, a resort-quality swim
center, Club House and a convenient, inviting village center.
Our community has been built with the
coastal environment in mind. The neighborhood villages are
designed to maximize views and greenspace. Construction coding
on all North River Club buildings stays "green" thanks to
Superior Construction Standards.

Golf and waterfront homes pepper this Crystal Coast
community.

About the Area
Beaufort is a historic area located within 50
miles of many of Eastern North Carolina's famous
waterfront towns including Ocracoke, Morehead
City, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, Indian
Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, New Bern, Havelock,
Newport and Oriental.

Boating is a popular pastime here.
Some of the best fishing, boating, sailing
and beachcombing on North Carolina's coast are right at your
North River Club doorstep. Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Shackleford
Banks, wild ponies, historical home tours and gourmet
restaurants enrich local life.

Cape Lookout Lighthouse is nearby.
Beaufort has been a regional landmark since
colonial times. One of its best-known residents, Edward Teach,
a.k.a. Blackbeard the pirate, frequented the area and reportedly
lost his famous ship the Queen Ann's Revenge just off our coast.
The local Maritime Museum features many
artifacts and much history from Beaufort's colorful past.
Today's Beaufort is renowned for it's small-town friendly
village atmosphere, pristine water, beautiful beaches and a very
relaxing yet enriching lifestyle.

Blackbeard the pirate was a frequent visitor of the area.
Beaufort is a seaside town with four-season
activity. Our year-round population is sufficient to keep our
favorite restaurants open all year We experience each of the
four seasons but are spared harsh winters and enjoy cooling
breezes throughout the summer.
Popular warm-weather events include the
Beaufort Music Festival, the Cherry Point Airshow, the Carolina
Seafood Festival, the Big Rock Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament
and the Beaufort Old Homes & Gardens Tour.
