Life in Legendary Lowcountry
Convenient to Beaufort, Hilton Head Island and Savannah, Oldfield is a
golf course community that overlooks a spectacular horseshoe bend in the Okatie
River deep in South Carolina's legendary Lowcountry. Its 860 acres
overflow with the magnificent moss-draped live oaks and dramatic marsh vistas for which this area is
known.

The sunlight can be dazzling along Oldfield's river-edged course.
Oldfield is truly unique in the area, its residents are quick to
point out. Not only is the community home to the first Greg Norman golf course in the Lowcountry, but Oldfield is set apart by the recreation offered on the Okatie River, as well as traditional Lowcountry architecture and a sincere dedication to Southern hospitality and service.
Just inside
the community gate, The Greeter's Store is a natural gathering place for owners. Residents will stop here to pick up their mail,
buy a loaf of bread or enjoy an ice cream cone. The Greeter's Store is a genuine step back in time, complete with rocking chairs,
RC Colas and Moon Pies.
With homesites ranging from $150,000 to $850,000 and homes from the
$500,000s, Oldfield truly offers an inviting community and uncommon way of life
with a total of 550 homesites and just 375 golf memberships.

Greg Norman's first course in the Lowcountry is a stunner.
Championship Golf by Greg Norman
"We dream of getting a site like this one," says a smiling Greg Norman
about Oldfield. Since this was the first and only Greg Norman golf course in the Lowcountry, he wanted to make it something special. From all indications,
Norman has done just that.
The course winds across broad savannas of broomgrass and palmetto up to the expansive marshes of the Okatie River. With five sets of tees, Oldfield is highly
playable for all skill levels, as well as scenic.
Members can enjoy expansive views of the golf course from the glass
and screened porches of the new 13,000-sq.-ft. clubhouse which also
features men's and ladies locker rooms, card rooms, bar and grill,
private dining area and formal dining area.

The Okatie River provides plenty of waterfront activities.
Waterfront Activities
Activity on the water will be a part of everyday life, and all residents will share in the rare and beautiful resource that is the Okatie River. At
the Outfitters Center, for example, River Pro David Murray leads residents in sea kayaking, shrimping, canoeing and fly-fishing. Community docks provide boat access and day mooring.
Oldfield's comprehensive trail system winds throughout the property, affording a great opportunity to experience nature while walking, running or biking. Children and grown-ups alike can learn about the area's fascinating flora and fauna at the Nature Lab and Library with the help of Oldfield's
Naturalist, Marvin Boucknight.

wonderful riverfront experience of camellia gardens, walking paths, cottages and community docks. It

The River Cottages
Close by
The River House and offering dramatic views of the Okatie River, The River Cottages at Oldfield add yet another dimension to Lowcountry
living.

The Camellia River Cottage features complete furnishings and golf
membership.
At the heart of each cottage is a spacious living and dining area which gives way to an equally spacious screened porch. While the kitchen and master bedroom are part of each cottage's main house, each of the other bedrooms is a private cabin in and of itself. Each is connected to the main house by walkways and porches, and each has its own private screened porch and keyed entry.
