Stretching out over 7,100 yards from the back markers, this challenging course has recently undergone extensive renovation and features all new TifEagle greens.

The recently renovated 27,000-square-foot clubhouse at River Wilderness is used for a myriad of activities. Art classes, card groups, and group excursions are just some of the social amenities available. There is daily lunch and weekly dining, along with specialty theme events. 

The River Wilderness Club offers art classes, dining and regular events.

A 3,800-square-foot athletic center offers outstanding fitness, tennis and swimming programs that are geared to the beginner as well as the advanced athlete pursuing a healthy lifestyle.

The fitness center has exercise equipment, a pool and club dining.

Driving Directions

From Interstate I-75 (Northbound and Southbound)

• Follow I-75 to exit 224 (Ellenton exit)
• At bottom of exit ramp, turn left onto U.S. Highway 301 North
• After approximately 3 miles, turn right onto Old Tampa Road
• Entrance to River Wilderness is 2.5 miles on right
