Summer's Bend recently announced a new affiliation with Coosaw Creek Country Club. The agreement allows Summer's Bend purchasers the opportunity to obtain a golf membership package at Coosaw Creek, an award-winning Arthur Hills-designed course, which is less than five minutes from Summer's Bend.

Coosaw Creek is a member-owned, semi-private championship golf course and country club that has been named a "Must Play" course by Golf Magazine and received "4 Stars" from Golf Digest. The club also features a junior Olympic swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, a basketball court and a complete golf practice facility.

Nearby, Drayton Hall is the oldest preserved plantation house in America that is open to the public and is designated a National Trust historic site. Completed in 1742 on a 630-acre site, Drayton Hall is considered one of the finest examples of Georgian-Palladian architecture in America.
