Description
Suncadia is a 6,300-acre resort community
adjacent to the city of Roslyn and the Wenatchee National Forest in western Washington
state,
easily accessible via Interstate 90. Its amenities will include
three 18-hole, championship golf courses, a boutique Inn, a
condominium lodge and a central village of shops and
galleries—plus an array of sporting and recreational activities
in an unspoiled mountain environment.
Pristine is the only way to describe Suncadia's forested
location.
Home ownership options at Suncadia consist of condominiums in the Lodge at Suncadia, homesites
suitable for custom, post-and-beam-style residences, and luxury
cabins in the private community at Tumble Creek.
Prospector, the first of Suncadia’s two public courses, is a visual and
strategic delight with fairways bordered by rugged stands of
pine and fir. This layout by Palmer Course Design boldly
exploits the elevation changes of its site, nowhere more so than
at the par-4 10th, where the fairway lies some 120 feet below
the tee boxes.

Overlooking the Prospector course is the intimate Inn at
Suncadia, a boutique hotel with 14 guestrooms and four suites,
all luxuriously appointed. Dining options at The Inn include
such mining-themed venues as the Gas Lamp Grille, the Canary Lounge and
the Lunch Bucket sandwich shop.
Sophisticated western-lodge architecture distinguishes the
Inn at Suncadia
Suncadia’s Rope Rider golf course, a Peter Jacobsen-Jim Hardy
collaboration, is specially designed for parents and young
golfers. It features youth tees on every hole and a layout
divided into distinct three-hole and six-hole loops—so families
can get just as much golf as they please. The Rope Rider's full 18
holes are scheduled to open in 2007.
Hiking and climbing trails in national forest land is
virtually unlimited.
Suncadia Village will serve as the centerpiece of the community. Casual
dining, cafés, gift shops and artisan galleries will be
gathered in an attractive, congenial layout.
A conservancy agreement built into Suncadia’s
land plan preserves in perpetuity a hike-able, 1,200-acre
corridor of the Cle Elum River that runs through the heart of
Suncadia.
