Verrado
Phoenix/Buckeye, Arizona

The Raven Golf Club is one of the anchors to the new town of
Verrado where a sense of community and 21st century amenities meet.
Description
Verrado is not so much a place, its developers like to say, as it
is an idea--an approach to combining a unique Arizona landscape with
the advantages of a 21st century town, all set under the watchful gaze
of the White Tank Mountains.

The Raven golf course is a memorable desert layout with spectacular mountain
views.
The creation of authentic town living is a hot trend in today's new
communities and Verrado embraces all the elements of town living with
enthusiasm. Events both musical and colorful bring its Main Street
alive for families and friends who come to join in the festivities.
Covering
more
than 8,800 acres, Verrado is an easy access town
where local shops and stores, dining, recreational opportunities,
schools, and other important amenities are part of the
neighborhood fabric--and only minutes from home. Nearby neighborhood parks,
a championship
golf course and the surrounding Sonoran desert keep nature close by while the
beautiful White Tank Mountains are visible everywhere.

Main Street offers local shops close to home.
In addition to neighborhood parks, there are a multitude of
recreational opportunities including a Tom Lehman- and John
Fought-designed championship golf course. There are also three miles
of walking paths and trails running all throughout Verrado.
One of the most important amenities is the Village Sport and Health
Club the two-story, 14,000-square-foot building located at the end of
the Village Green. The facility opened in January 2004 and
features state-of-the-art fitness equipment, meeting rooms, separate rooms for
yoga, spinning and other classes and men's and women's locker rooms.
Outdoor facilities include heated lap and recreational pool, kids
waterplay area, basketball court and patio. Soon to come: tennis,
basketball and racquetball courts, cafe, spa and more.

A stone bridge takes you back to the Raven clubhouse.
One of the most visible and spectacular amenities is the Raven Golf
Club at Verrado, which was designed by Tom Lehman and John Fought. The
Verrado course is the sixth in the US and second in Arizona to carry
the Raven imprint. From the tips, the Raven stretches out more than
7,200 yards. Yet with five tee boxes on every hole, it's a course that
enjoyable at all levels of play.
Real estate at Verrado includes scenic mountainside and custom golf homes and homesites.
